About the position

The Shift Leader is responsible for supervising shifts and managing work areas in a Papa John's restaurant. This role ensures high-quality products and customer service while maintaining restaurant profitability. The Shift Leader executes company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and ethical practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervises shifts and work areas to ensure high-quality products and customer service.
• Manages operations and executes all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices.
• Adheres to guidelines for each station, including dough management and proper portioning.
• Performs assigned work station duties, including making quality products and following preparation procedures.
• Contributes to achieving the company's product goals and minimizes customer complaints.
• Follows all policies and procedures outlined in the TM handbook, including attendance and safety.
• Exemplifies core values and maintains a positive attitude while working with others.
• Ensures adequate shift coverage and provides immediate feedback to correct problems.
• Maintains product quality, customer service, and performance responsibilities within acceptable standards.
• Contributes to profit goals by accurately utilizing the FOCUS System and executing cash management duties.
• Assists in managing adequate inventory levels to minimize loss.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Skills in cash management, planning and organization, and effective communication.
