About the position

The Shift Leader is responsible for supervising shifts and work areas in a Papa John's restaurant, ensuring high-quality products and customer service to drive restaurant profitability. This role involves managing operations, executing company policies, and ensuring compliance with laws and ethical practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shifts and work areas to ensure high-quality products and customer service.
• Adhere to guidelines and expectations for each station, including dough management and portioning.
• Perform assigned work station duties, including making quality products and following preparation procedures.
• Contribute to achieving the company's product goals and minimize customer complaints.
• Follow all policies and procedures outlined in the TM handbook, including attendance and safety.
• Exemplify core values and maintain a positive attitude while working with others.
• Ensure adequate shift coverage for the restaurant and provide immediate feedback to team members.
• Maintain product quality, customer service, and performance responsibilities within acceptable standards.
• Contribute to profit goals by utilizing the FOCUS System accurately.
• Execute cash management duties and assist in managing inventory levels.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Skills in cash management, planning and organization, and effective communication.
