About the position
The Shift Leader at Bruegger's Bagels plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive guest experience while managing store operations. This position involves collaborating with the General Manager to motivate the team, maintain high food quality, and uphold a clean and safe environment. Shift Leaders are empowered to take charge, provide feedback, and coach team members, with opportunities for career growth within the company.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the General Manager to motivate the team.
- Provide feedback and coach team members as needed.
- Open and close the store with little to no supervision.
- Ensure the quality of food and beverages served.
- Maintain a safe and clean store environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including early hours and weekends.
- Must be able to pass a background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
- Possession of, or ability to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training.
- Possession of a current, valid, state-issued driver's license (preferred but only required at specific locations).
