About the position

The Hub Administration Shift Manager at Envoy Air is responsible for managing the overall operation within an assigned functional area, ensuring effective staffing, scheduling, and administrative oversight. This role involves coordinating various operational activities, implementing automation solutions, and fostering teamwork to enhance operational efficiency and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage coordination of the overall operation within an assigned functional area.
  • Oversee staffing and scheduling for all employees.
  • Audit and process airport badges, customs seals, and other airport items.
  • Handle administrative duties related to injuries, leaves, and hiring processes.
  • Conduct agent observations and facilitate local training programs.
  • Maintain supplies and inventory control logs.
  • Prepare customer correspondence and investigate discrepancies.
  • Assist management with administrative functions and work.
  • Conduct performance reviews for team members and attendance reviews of hub employees.
  • Encourage employee teamwork to generate and implement ideas.
  • Analyze existing administrative processes for improvement and automation.
  • Develop and implement automated solutions to streamline workflows.
  • Gather requirements and propose process optimization strategies with the administration team.
  • Train team members on new automated tools and processes.
  • Maintain documentation of process changes and automation workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful integration of new tools.

Requirements

  • Must be able to perform all duties under sometimes stressful conditions.
  • Must be subjected to engine fumes, vehicle emissions, dust, engine noise, and de-icing fluids.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and report to work regularly and on-time.
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Possess the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English; Spanish preferred in Caribbean bases.
  • Demonstrates above average qualities of leadership, initiative, and judgment.
  • Must perform job functions in variable weather and environmental conditions.
  • Must be able to lift bags weighing up to 75lbs.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous public contact experience preferred.
  • College degree preferred.
