About the position

The Shift Manager at Military Clothing Sales is responsible for overseeing retail operations, ensuring service members receive the uniforms they need, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. This role requires attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to adapt to changing policies and technology. The manager will also focus on team development and provide a positive shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, managing, and directing retail store operations.
  • Establish financial goals to maximize sales, profit, SSR, productivity, turns, and inventory.
  • Evaluate and enhance customer service and customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise, train, develop, and schedule associates for current positions and future growth.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • One year of retail experience in retail store operations within the last two years is required.
  • Knowledge of military rank/insignias preferred.
  • Cash handling experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.

  • Retail experience preferred.
  • Willing to cross-train and work in other areas of the store as needed.
