About the position

The Shift Manager at McDonald's is responsible for leading shifts to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. This role involves providing leadership to crew members and other managers, ensuring quality service, safety, and cleanliness, while also meeting operational targets and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead shifts to ensure fast, accurate, and friendly customer service.
  • Monitor performance during shifts and take action to meet McDonald's standards.
  • Ensure food safety and quality food production.
  • Manage crew and provide training and support.
  • Oversee daily maintenance and cleanliness of the restaurant.
  • Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager for smooth transitions.
  • Manage inventory and scheduling for the team.
  • Ensure safety and security protocols are followed.

Requirements

  • Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment is preferred.
  • Must be 18 years or older to be a manager.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
