About the position

As a Shift Manager at AES Restaurant Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring outstanding service and guest satisfaction by overseeing restaurant operations and directing team members during your assigned shifts. You will be fully accountable for the restaurant's operations during shifts when management is not present, which includes maintaining high standards of service, quality control, and operational efficiency. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a positive work environment and achieving the company's goals. In this position, you will work closely with the General and Assistant Manager to drive performance in key areas such as restaurant operations, guest satisfaction, customer service, speed of service, and workplace safety. You will utilize AES systems to run a great restaurant on all shifts, implement restaurant controls, especially regarding cash and inventory, and set and meet restaurant goals for service, operations, and financial results. Your responsibilities will also include assisting management with training and coaching team members, ensuring compliance with government regulations, employment law, food safety, and operations policies, and implementing all accounting controls. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
  • Must be ServSafe certified or capable of obtaining certification
  • Ability to work in warm and cold temperatures
  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to climb ladders for general maintenance
  • Ability to perform bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, and reaching motions
