The Shift Supervisor's role involves executing the company's brand strategy and promoting its vision, mission, and values, resulting in a great customer experience and maximized sales. Responsibilities include teaching, coaching, and providing leadership to the store crew members, maximizing store sales through customer satisfaction and food quality, overseeing the shift operations of Braum's food service function, grocery market, and fountain sales, and actively participating in monitoring inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety, and cleanliness as needed. The Shift Supervisor will also share in the responsibility for ensuring that Braum's store policies and practices are implemented and followed accordingly. The work schedule varies based on a rotating 3-week schedule with an expected 45-hour work week. This position reports to the Assistant Manager.
Responsibilities
- Execute the company's brand strategy and promote its vision, mission, and values.
- Teach, coach, and provide leadership to the store crew members.
- Maximize store sales through customer satisfaction and food quality.
- Oversee the shift operations of Braum's food service function, grocery market, and fountain sales.
- Monitor inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety, and cleanliness as needed.
- Ensure that Braum's store policies and practices are implemented and followed accordingly.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Customer focus and strong work ethic with high standards for integrity.
- Positive approach to training, developing, and interacting with all team members.
- Ability to build a successful team by creating an environment of trust.
- Ability to adapt to customer and employee needs as well as store environment conditions.
- Effective communication skills with leadership team members.
- Strong follow-up and follow-through discipline.
- Initiative to take action and achieve goals.
- Organized, detailed, and able to follow practices/procedures.
- Retail experience.
