About the position

As a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, you will lead store operations during your shift, ensuring a high-quality customer experience and maintaining operational standards. You will work closely with a team of baristas, guiding and motivating them to deliver exceptional service and expertly-crafted beverages. Responsibilities

  • Lead each shift and manage store operations to ensure quality customer service.
  • Motivate and guide team members to create an uplifting experience for customers and partners.
  • Maintain store safety and security standards, including cash handling procedures.
  • Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer specifications.
  • Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality among team members.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment - 1 year.
  • Six months of experience in a position requiring constant interaction with customers.
  • Six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees or coordinating tasks of two or more employees.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a leadership role within a retail or restaurant environment.
  • Knowledge of beverage preparation and food safety standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with team members and customers.
