About the position

As a Starbucks shift supervisor, you will lead store operations during your shift, ensuring high-quality customer service and product delivery. You will work closely with a team of baristas, fostering a positive and energetic environment while guiding and motivating your team. This role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and the ability to create an uplifting experience for both customers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead each shift and manage store operations standards.
  • Work alongside baristas to deliver quality customer service and expertly-crafted products.
  • Create a positive and encouraging team environment.
  • Guide and influence team members to enhance their performance.
  • Maintain store safety and security standards.
  • Handle cash and ensure accurate cash management.

Requirements

  • 1 year of customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
  • 6 months of experience in a role requiring constant customer interaction.
  • 6 months of experience delegating tasks to others or coordinating tasks of multiple employees.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with cash-handling and store safety procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new beverage recipes.
