About the position
As a Starbucks shift supervisor, you will lead store operations during your shift, ensuring high-quality customer service and product delivery. You will work closely with a team of baristas, fostering a positive and energetic environment while developing your leadership skills. This role emphasizes teamwork, initiative, and the ability to create an uplifting experience for both customers and partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead each shift and manage store operations standards.
- Work alongside baristas to deliver quality customer service and expertly-crafted products.
- Motivate and guide team members to maintain an encouraging team environment.
- Ensure compliance with cash-handling and store safety protocols.
- Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
Requirements
- Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment - 1 year.
- Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interaction with customers.
- At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees.
- Ability to direct the work of others and learn quickly.
- Effective oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.

- Experience with cash-handling and store safety procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
