About the position
As a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, you will lead store operations during your shift, ensuring a high-quality customer experience and guiding a team of baristas. You will be responsible for modeling operational standards, motivating team members, and delivering exceptional service while managing daily store activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead each shift and manage store operations to ensure quality customer service.
- Motivate and guide team members to create a positive work environment.
- Ensure adherence to store policies and operational standards.
- Handle cash and maintain store safety and security protocols.
- Prepare and coach team members on beverage and food preparation according to standard recipes.
- Interact with customers to fulfill their requests and enhance their experience.
Requirements
- 1 year of customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
- 6 months of experience in a role requiring constant customer interaction.
- 6 months of experience delegating tasks to others or coordinating team activities.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Effective oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
