About the position

As a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, you will lead store operations during your shift, ensuring a high-quality customer service experience while working alongside a team of baristas. This role emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and the ability to create a positive environment for both customers and partners. You will be responsible for maintaining operational standards, coaching team members, and fostering a culture of connection and belonging within the store.

Responsibilities

• Lead each shift and manage store operations to ensure quality service and product delivery.
• Act as a role model for store operations standards and customer service excellence.
• Motivate and guide team members to create an uplifting experience for customers and partners.
• Handle cash and ensure store safety and security protocols are followed.
• Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer specifications.
• Delegate tasks and coordinate the work of team members effectively.

Requirements

• 1 year of customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
• 6 months of experience in a role requiring constant interaction with customers.
• 6 months of experience delegating tasks to other employees or coordinating tasks of multiple employees.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
