About the position
As a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, you will lead store operations and inspire your team to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality products. This role involves working closely with baristas, maintaining a positive team environment, and enhancing your leadership skills in a fast-paced setting. You will be responsible for guiding your team, ensuring adherence to operational standards, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead each shift and manage store operations standards.
- Work alongside baristas to deliver quality customer service and expertly-crafted products.
- Motivate and guide team members to create an uplifting experience.
- Maintain an encouraging team environment and promote collaboration.
- Handle cash and ensure store safety and security protocols are followed.
Requirements
- 1 year of customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
- 6 months of experience in a role requiring constant customer interaction.
- 6 months of experience delegating tasks to other employees or coordinating tasks of multiple employees.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with cash-handling and store safety procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new beverage recipes.
