About the position

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role at CVS Health is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher-level supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. This position focuses on developing management skills, understanding CVS/pharmacy culture, and enhancing customer service capabilities. Successful trainees will be considered for promotion to supervisory positions, where they will lead store staff and ensure smooth operations in the absence of a manager.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews
• Supervise the store's crew by assigning, directing, and following up on all activities
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews
• Assist customers with their questions, problems, and complaints
• Promote CVS customer service culture by greeting, offering help, and thanking customers
• Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy
• Maintain customer/patient confidentiality

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability
• Analytical skills
• Computer skills
• Advanced communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts

Nice-to-haves
