About the position
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role at CVS Health is an entry-level position designed to prepare employees for higher-level supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. This short-term role involves completing basic operations and management skills training while learning key aspects of the business, including customer service and CVS/pharmacy culture. Successful trainees may be promoted to supervisory positions, where they will lead store staff and ensure smooth store operations in the absence of a manager.
Responsibilities
- Work effectively with store management and store crews
- Supervise the store's crew by assigning, directing, and following up on all activities
- Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews
- Assist customers with their questions, problems, and complaints
- Promote CVS customer service culture by greeting, offering help, and thanking customers
- Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy
- Maintain customer/patient confidentiality
