About the position

The Shift Supervisor at PLS Financial Services Inc. is responsible for leading the store team to deliver exceptional customer service while achieving operational and financial goals. This role involves overseeing daily store operations, supporting the Assistant Store Manager, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The Shift Supervisor also acts as a key point of contact for team members and customers in the absence of higher management.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining exemplary customer service within the store and building relationships with customers.
  • Establishing a strong customer service culture within the store.
  • Supporting the Assistant Store Manager in implementing strategies to meet store goals and objectives.
  • Assisting the Assistant Store Manager with developing and motivating store team members.
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Performing responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative and supervising the team's activities in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Coaching CSRs on conducting transactions that meet customer service and compliance standards.
  • Reviewing and approving checks within limits.
  • Supporting store marketing efforts within the community.
  • Resolving customer complaints.
  • Assisting the Store Manager with managing schedules, cash, and store audits.
  • Reviewing Operations Bulletins and training to ensure understanding of current policies and procedures.
  • Helping to maintain a neat and clean store environment for customers and team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one year of management experience in hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant industries.
  • Ability and willingness to engage with customers.
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Strong desire to exceed corporate initiatives and inspire excellence in a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • High-energy, collaborative management experience.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Must be honest and have integrity.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • English fluency is required; English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
