About The Position

The Shipboard Creative Manager (Media Manager) at Margaritaville at Sea is responsible for enhancing the onboard experience for guests through effective management and delivery of all print and digital media communications. This role involves overseeing the daily printing and distribution of guest materials, collaborating with various departments to meet marketing needs, and ensuring all communications align with brand guidelines. The position is shipboard-based, requiring a commitment of 4 months onboard followed by 2 months of unpaid vacation.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily printing and distribution of all on-ship guest printing, including Cruise News, cabin letters, promotional flyers, etc.
  • Lead the development of shipboard guest-facing communications and revenue touchpoints through printed and digital marketing material.
  • Collaborate with revenue and department leadership to understand communication and marketing needs.
  • Coordinate with Shoreside Creative Team on the creative development of new project requests.
  • Monitor the performance of all printing equipment and related materials, overseeing repairs as necessary.
  • Work with department heads and supply chain to ensure responsible and sufficient levels of collateral based on depletion.
  • Oversee any needed final finishing production, including laminating, trimming, folding, and mounting.
  • Prepare and lay out template-based creative, including guest cabin letters, restaurant signage, and name tags.
  • Develop daily content for Cruise News, including layout and preparation of print files.
  • Design promotional materials to support guest communication and revenue goals, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
