About the position

Alicat Scientific, Inc. is seeking a motivated Shipping and Logistics Agent to support various tasks within the Shipping and Logistics department. The role involves managing shipping processes, ensuring compliance with guidelines, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have some experience with shipping software but training will be provided for new employees.

Responsibilities

• Verifying all line items of order are present
• Packing and shipping items according to Alicat guidelines
• Completing various customs documentation when needed
• Maintaining shipping area and supplies
• Time Management
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Reading and understanding documentation
• Performing additional tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of experience in shipping & receiving
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet navigation)
• Experience with FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, and DHL (preferred but not mandatory)
• Ability to work 40 hours a week
