About the position

The Shipping and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the timely shipping of products to customers. This includes tasks such as picking, packing, and verifying customer orders, as well as managing inventory and preparing shipping manifests. The role requires attention to detail and proficiency in various software suites to facilitate shipping operations.

Responsibilities

• Creates current and future shipping manifests
• Picks, packs, verifies, and processes customer orders using various software suites
• Consolidates packages destined for specific customers
• Prepares and processes small package shipments for personnel outside of the Logistics Group
• Manages department inventory and performs cycle counting
• Notifies Customer Care and Key Accounts personnel of incomplete/inaccurate customer addresses
• Makes Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings
• Delivers packages to local customers and to the Airport, when necessary

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license required
• Previous shipping experience preferred
• Previous experience with shipping software suites preferred
• Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred

Benefits

• Pay Rate: $18.44/Hour on W2
• Expected hours: 40 per week
• Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
