Approved Transportation & Warehousing, Ltd./Approved Freight Forwarders is seeking a qualified Operations Coordinator to join our team in Industry, CA. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse administrative processes. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role and will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry and load planning. The Operations Coordinator will work Monday through Friday, with hours to be determined, and will be required to work overtime on Tuesdays and Fridays. In this role, you will help the organization run smoothly by ensuring that all deadlines and plans for events are accomplished on time and without issues. You will be responsible for ensuring that all activities conform to local, federal, industry, and company standards. The position requires strong communication skills, as you will be handling heavy email communication via Microsoft Outlook and will need to communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders. Additionally, you will be involved in hazardous freight declarations and documentation processing, billing and accruing, and import and export container processing. The ability to multitask and adapt to a dynamic environment is crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is required, along with experience in warehouse, 3PL, distribution, and logistics. Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
