Staffmark Tustin is seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Office Clerk to join a leading water treatment company located in Santa Ana, CA. As a Shipping and Receiving Office Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of shipping and receiving processes, which are vital to the company's logistics and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include preparing and managing shipping documentation, scheduling pickups and deliveries, processing parts orders, and communicating with suppliers and customers regarding order statuses. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing and managing various shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels. You will also coordinate shipments with customers and production teams, ensuring that all orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Additionally, you will be tasked with receiving incoming shipments, reconciling them with purchase orders, and updating customers on the status of their orders. Your ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and customers will be essential in maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will also assist with customer quotes and ensure that all shipments are accurately labeled and tagged. This role may also involve performing other assigned duties as needed to support the team and the overall operations of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage shipping documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping labels).
  • Schedule truck and courier pickups/deliveries; coordinate shipments with customers and production.
  • Process parts orders, check inventory, and update customers on order status.
  • Receive and reconcile incoming shipments with purchase orders.
  • Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding product arrival dates and order status.
  • Assist with customer quotes and ensure accurate labeling/tagging of shipments.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for the duration of the shift.
