About the position

Join our team of dedicated individuals who serve our patients daily! The Shipping Assistant is responsible for assisting with all Company shipping and receiving on a daily basis, inspecting and processing returned items to the warehouse, and maintaining the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion. This is not an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities. Projects/duties may be modified/changed/added/deleted as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare all items to be shipped on a daily basis.
  • Manage and complete daily cycle counts of applicable inventory.
  • Receive all items shipped to the Company on a daily basis. Inspect and report any damage immediately to Supervisor/Logistics Coordinator.
  • Notify appropriate parties of shipments received.
  • Place all items received for stock into their appropriate locations on a daily basis. Ensure that items are properly rotated and no expired products are stocked in the DC.
  • Assist the Shipping Coordinator in maintaining inventory in the DC.
  • Maintain the warehouse area in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Demonstrate timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience when dealing with patients/clients.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding employment, safety and compliance and report any concerns of non-compliance in any area to your manager immediately.
  • Perform other duties as requested by your manager or another member of management.
