About the position
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for the packaging and shipping of medications, ensuring compliance with delivery protocols and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role involves daily reporting to management and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide a delivery report to management and complete designated delivery paperwork by the end of business daily.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse and inventory areas in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Maintain the shipping station.
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory by removing expired items.
- Create pre-packaged supply items when needed.
- Order supplies necessary for the shipping department.
- Pack medication appropriately and affix a shipping label after the order has been verified by a pharmacist.
- Verify that all documents and demographics are accurate and correspond to one another.
Requirements
