About the position
The position involves picking, sorting, and shipping tissue grafts from human donors in a regulated environment. The role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy of orders and maintaining compliance with ISO, AATB, and FDA regulations. The employee will work closely with various departments to support shipping needs and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Accurately picks tissue and ships all sales orders.
- Inspects outgoing packages for accuracy of contents.
- Maintains the order of all warehouse shelves and freezers.
- Ships to outside distributors.
- Assembles shipping boxes and maintains the shipping supply inventory.
- Able to work with FedEx equipment and run daily reports.
- Sorts frozen tissue on a daily basis.
- Assists other departments with their shipping needs.
- Able to work in Master Control system to read and understand all job related SOP's.
- Works in accordance with all ISO, AATB and FDA regulations.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Assists the Inventory Control Department with sorting of freeze-dried tissue and frozen tissue.
- Handles, checks, packs, and ships Osteochondral Grafts (Edison only).
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
- Assists the Receiving Department whenever necessary.
- Assists with special projects.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 - 2 years of work experience in a warehouse environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Some college education
- 1 - 2 years of shipping, receiving, or inventory experience
- Proficient in FedEx Power Shipper program.
