About the position

The Shipping Driver/Hub Specialist at Tutta Bella Culinary is responsible for delivering and transporting artisan food products while supporting the shipping and receiving operations at the Culinary Innovation Hub. This role combines driving duties with warehouse responsibilities, ensuring safe handling of perishable goods and maintaining quality standards throughout the delivery process.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, pick up, and transport products and supplies to customers, vendors, and Tutta Bella locations.
• Perform daily routine safety checks and pre-trip inspections on assigned vehicle.
• Navigate and operate vehicles within assigned service areas safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload products and materials according to safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with legal load limits for transported products.
• Report accidents or vehicle damage to a supervisor promptly.
• Support good customer and vendor relations and maintain a positive brand image.
• Print stickers for tracking and traceability of products.
• Clean and organize the walk-in freezer and maintain inventory.
• Bin and pack orders, and fold and stage boxes for shipping.
• Complete all required Tutta Bella forms and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 1 at-fault violation or moving violation within 3 years).
• Current Food Handler's Permit valid in King County.
• Ability to learn and apply safe-handling procedures for equipment and appliances.
• Certification for operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks as required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 80 pounds occasionally.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in food service or delivery driving.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Forklift operation experience.
