About the position

The Shipping and Inventory Specialist is a versatile role designed to ensure smooth operations in both inventory management and shipping processes during the 2nd shift (2 pm to 10 pm, Monday through Friday). This position requires a proactive individual capable of managing inventory counts, handling shipping and receiving duties, and supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to step in and support various functions as needed. In this role, the specialist will conduct daily inventory counts of raw and finished goods for at least half of the shift, identifying and adjusting any discrepancies in inventory levels using inventory management systems. They will accurately locate and organize inventory within the warehouse to ensure efficient retrieval and maintain detailed and accurate records of inventory transactions and counts. Shipping coordination is another key responsibility, where the specialist will ship customer orders as required, especially during peak periods or when the regular shipping coordinator is unavailable.
