About the position

The Shipping Order Management Specialist Lead oversees the wave station operations within the warehouse, ensuring timely execution of all Warehouse Management System (WMS) activities. This full-time position involves close collaboration with various personnel to manage shipping processes effectively and independently report to the Shipping Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general shipping activities to ensure all orders are waved out to order pickers.
• Create route labels and coordinate with labeling teams.
• Ensure all orders are processed before designated cutoff times.
• Manage the processing of all waves and ensure accuracy in 'can't finds'.
• Print packing slips after waves are complete and mark orders as shipped once cleared.
• Prepare Ecom paperwork for the labeling team and ensure timely processing of Ecom orders.
• Create and schedule manifests for next-day deliveries.
• Train and orient new wave station employees.

Requirements

• Mid-level experience in shipping and logistics management.
• Strong communication skills for clear direction and coordination.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Problem-solving skills to address complex shipping logistics issues.
• Technical knowledge of shipping machines and logistics procedures.
• Leadership skills to supervise and guide shipping staff effectively.
• Computer competency to manage shipping databases and orders.
