About the position

As a Shipping Pick-Pack Team Member with The Bug Company, you will play a vital role in the product distribution process. This full-time position is essential for ensuring the safe and timely dispatch of products, requiring a proactive and organized individual to facilitate shipping operations effectively. The role demands meticulous attention to detail and the ability to handle physical demands associated with production work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for shipment ensuring they meet the company standards.
• Package products securely to prevent damage during transit.
• Accurately label packages with the correct shipping and product information.
• Report any inventory or service issues to leadership.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure all orders are fulfilled and dispatched on time.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment and tools, reporting any malfunctions or supply needs.
• Handle delicate items with care and special attention to packaging guidelines.
• Enhance department reputation by taking ownership of new and different tasks.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move heavy packages consistently through your shifts.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to count to 100.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills, able to communicate clearly with team members and leadership.
