About the position
The Shipping/Receiving I position at Andrews Laser Works involves performing basic shipping and receiving tasks, including packing and unpacking orders. Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Safely and efficiently operate forklift and order picker upon proper licensing
- Verify packaging slips and order contents, performing visual inspection
- Package product for either outside processing or finished goods
- Part protection, boxing, taping, wrapping, banding, weighing, etc.
- Loading and unloading material using a crane
- Maintain quality standards including performing in process inspection procedures
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and analytical abilities
- Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate
- 0-1 year experience in a similar role
- GED or High School diploma preferred but not required
