About the position

The Warehouse Specialist/Production Support role at Adecco involves supporting production and flow management in a warehouse setting. The position requires verification of raw materials, managing production schedules, and ensuring inventory accuracy. The role is critical for maintaining operational efficiency and addressing any discrepancies in inventory and production data.

Responsibilities

  • Support production and flow management through raw materials verification and production schedule changes.
  • Verify raw materials available prior to production schedule, including code dates and material substitutions.
  • Validate pallets produced per production run and track raw material usages/losses.
  • Perform physical counts of raw materials for inventory control.
  • Compare inventories and research discrepancies between WMS and SAP.
  • Reconcile and compile daily/weekly bottle usages with Graham Packaging.
  • Assist operators with WMS issues, including schedule changes and relocations.
  • Research consumer complaints related to raw materials and production downtimes.
  • Reconcile production pallets produced versus distribution pallets received.
  • Confirm production orders completed/closed and verify high losses for accounting purposes.
  • Track raw material usage and finished good losses, identifying reasons for high losses.
  • Document daily milk inventory consumed per production batch and identify end-of-day milk scrapping losses.
  • Report various plant results, including downtime tracking and daily line/plant OE results.
  • Maintain shift vacation schedule per employee and team.
  • Engage in various work investigations, problem-solving, and data collection for production and distribution managers.
  • Participate in projects related to AGVs and WMS/SAP implementation and upgrades.

Requirements

  • One year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Must have SAP knowledge and strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and multiple scheduling software programs.
