About the position

As a CBRE Shipping & Receiving / Workplace Experience Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service to employees and guests within a designated building. This position is integral to the Workplace Experience function, focusing on managing mail and package processing, vendor coordination, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Coordinate with vendors supplying services or goods to the workplace.
  • Acknowledge inquiries or complaints from employees, guests, and co-workers, providing solutions professionally.
  • Order and restock supplies for mailrooms, shipping office, and breakrooms.
  • Provide coverage for the Service Center, which combines help desk and retail functions.
  • Monitor incoming phone calls and emails.
  • Relay important details and information to the team and management to ensure successful task completion.
  • Manage maintenance work orders as needed.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of FedEx Ship Manager software is a plus.
  • Experience with shipping/warehouse procedures is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Ability to occasionally lift 30-50 pounds with assistance.
