About The Position

The Shipping Specialist is responsible for efficiently packing and shipping orders to customers while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This role requires attention to detail and a positive attitude, contributing to the overall success of the shipping department in a growing natural and organic skincare company.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in shipping & receiving is required.
• Must be in good physical condition, capable of standing for 8 hours a day, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pack and ship orders accurately and in a timely manner to achieve daily, weekly & monthly shipping goals.
• Ensure lowest cost carriers are utilized while minimizing incremental shipping delays to customers.
• Verify that all products meet visual standards prior to shipping, ensuring lids are tightened and labels are correctly applied.
• Support USPS, DHL & FedEx package pickups.
• Assist with other areas of Production as needed, including labeling products, making boxes, and daily manufacturing support needs.
• Communicate product and packing supply needs when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness in shipping areas during and at the end of each shift.
• Ensure a safe work environment in shipping areas.
