About the position

The Shipping Team Member is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring efficient shipping operations while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. This role involves collaboration with team members to complete shipments and comply with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Completes shipments by processing and loading products.
• Pulls materials and protectively loads them in the trailer.
• Collaborates with the team with tasks related to shipping operations and procedures.
• Works safely with a team with large products and materials.
• Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping work areas neat.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Verbal and written communication skills to clearly receive instructions.
• Understanding of products and/or equipment used in manufacturing.
• Organization skills and attention to detail.
• Time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Teamwork and collaboration mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Prolonged periods of standing and repetitive motion.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
