This full-time position involves receiving and transporting products, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers. The role requires working in a 24/7 operation with rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends, and plays a crucial part in maintaining the efficiency of the shipping process.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes forklift to move materials and products
- Fills orders for shipment
- Places finished product into stock
- Unload bulk raw materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work in outdoor weather conditions frequently
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous industrial experience preferred
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to lift heavy packages and work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive work
- Multitasking without loss of efficiency or composure
- Attention to details, especially in situations requiring precise limits, tolerances or standards
- Ability to read and write in English
- Good communication skills
