Shipping Technician I

Responsibilities

• Identify product size
• Operate automatic tools and machines including lift booms and automatic strappers
• Understand rotation of stock
• Efficiently use the bar code system
• Load trucks and railcars according to driver safety requirements
• Complete appropriate paperwork including loading diagrams.

Requirements

• Familiar with operating procedures for heavy-lift forklifts including safety checks
• Forklift operator maintenance and troubleshooting
• Basic computer skills
• Proficient mathematical skills to ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to good customer relations practices.
