About the position

The Shop Coordinator at Wagner Equipment Co. is responsible for overseeing and organizing all aspects of branch maintenance operations. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and organize all aspects of branch maintenance operations.
  • Supervise and train mechanics and yard personnel.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of required paperwork.
  • Assist with processing work orders, purchase orders, and other relevant documentation.
  • Manage reports to boost productivity and review profit and loss statements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory agencies such as ANSI, OSHA, and DOT.
  • Communicate the status of customer repairs professionally and courteously.
  • Negotiate invoicing disputes with customers while maximizing profitability.
  • Coordinate urgent rental equipment requests and availability with counter representatives.
  • Train assigned personnel according to their skill level and company needs.
  • Cultivate a 5S culture and inspire positive change within the team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years in the mechanical repair field with lead person or shop foreman experience
  • 3-5 years customer service experience
  • 3-5 years supervisory/management experience
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Wynne
