About the position
The Shop Floater position at D&D Ingredients, LLC involves providing support across various production and warehouse jobs within the facility. The role requires flexibility to move between departments as needed, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for any/all outside production/warehouse jobs throughout the entire facility.
- Safely operate grinders, forklifts, skid loaders, earth movers, trackmobiles, and other company equipment.
- Ensure proper feed ingredient packaging integrity on the production bagging lines.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment; ensure all safety processes and procedures are adhered to and enforced.
- Perform outdoor work as required.
- Dependable and able to perform without constant supervision.
- Adhere to CGMPs as relevant to Food and Drug Administration.
- Follow all customer and regulatory guidelines to guarantee safe for use and good quality ingredients to protect animal performance and health.
- Assume responsibility for all associated job responsibilities correlated to job task.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment safely.
- Dependability and ability to work without constant supervision.
- Knowledge of safety processes and procedures in a production environment.
- Familiarity with CGMPs and regulatory guidelines related to food and drug administration.
Nice-to-haves
- CDL-Class A licensure (or willingness to obtain it).
