About the position
The Shop Floater position is a full-time role responsible for providing support across various production and warehouse jobs within the facility. The individual will be required to operate various types of equipment and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards while maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for any/all outside production/warehouse jobs throughout the entire facility.
- Safely operate grinders, forklifts, skid loaders, earth movers, trackmobiles, and other company equipment.
- Ensure proper feed ingredient packaging integrity on the production bagging lines when required.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment; enforce all safety processes and procedures.
- Perform outdoor work as required.
- Dependable and able to perform without constant supervision.
- Adhere to CGMPs as relevant to the Food and Drug Administration.
- Follow all customer and regulatory guidelines to guarantee safe use and good quality ingredients.
- Assume responsibility for all associated job responsibilities correlated to job tasks.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to operate various types of heavy machinery and equipment safely.
- Dependability and ability to work without constant supervision.
- Knowledge of safety processes and procedures in a production environment.
- Familiarity with CGMPs and regulatory guidelines related to food and drug safety.
Nice-to-haves
- CDL-Class A licensure (or willingness to obtain it).
