About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Shop Foreman to oversee our automotive service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, as well as exceptional leadership and customer service skills. As the Automotive Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, ensuring efficient operations, and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in automotive repair and maintenance is required
• Proven track record of successfully managing a team in an automotive service environment
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including suspension, brakes, transmission, etc.
• Familiarity with auto estimating software is preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a team of automotive technicians, providing guidance and support as needed
• Oversee the scheduling and assignment of work orders to ensure timely completion
• Monitor technician performance and provide feedback for improvement
• Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work performed
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and retention
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling services
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology
