About the position

The Shop Hand/Parts Chaser position at Swank Construction Company, LLC involves supporting the shop operations by maneuvering equipment, maintaining cleanliness, assisting technicians, and managing parts processes. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth functioning of the shop and contributes to the overall efficiency of the construction operations.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver various equipment around the yard and into the wash bay.
• Detail, degrease, and pressure wash heavy equipment to prepare for winter maintenance.
• Perform general maintenance and cleanup of the shop floor and surrounding area, machinery, equipment, and tools.
• Assist technicians with different job tasks.
• Assist the parts department with all of its daily processes and procedures.
• Maintain company tools, machinery, and equipment to ensure proper use.
• Perform all other tasks and follow instructions as directed by supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Valid driver's license (required).
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screens and background checks, including MVR.
