About the position
The Shop Helper position at Visu-Sewer, LLC involves assisting with the maintenance of construction and safety equipment, supporting yard and shop personnel, and performing various janitorial tasks. Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on miscellaneous construction equipment and safety equipment.
- Assist yard and shop personnel with buildings and grounds maintenance and warehouse organization.
- Assist diesel mechanics as needed.
- Work both inside the shop and outside in the yard, exposed to weather conditions.
- Complete shop and minor janitorial tasks as assigned.
- Be willing to have flexible hours, with standard hours ranging from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must hold a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must have mechanical knowledge and experience with forklift operations preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, bending, pushing, and pulling required.
