About the position

As a full-time Shop Industrial Control System Representative, you will play a vital role in maintaining and protecting our industrial control systems (ICS). This position is essential for ensuring that our systems comply with Information Assurance (IA) standards and technical guidance. You will be responsible for responding to incidents and maintaining the integrity of our ICS, which connects various devices and points to central monitoring workstations. Your work will directly contribute to the safety and security of our operations, making a meaningful impact on our mission to serve our country. In this role, you will be expected to maintain the ICS to ensure compliance with the necessary technical guidance and criteria for IA. This includes working with various connectivity means to ensure that all devices are properly monitored and secured. You will also be tasked with other duties as assigned, which may vary based on operational needs. Your ability to work in a diverse environment and interact professionally with a variety of individuals will be crucial to your success in this position. Responsibilities

  • Maintain ICS to ensure Information Assurance compliance meets technical guidance and criteria for IA of CE ICS.
  • Respond to incidents related to industrial control systems.
  • Connect devices and points to panels and central monitoring workstations as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Current Industrial Control System Certification.
  • IAT Level I or II certification as per DoD 8570.01-M Table AP3.T1 and T2.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain government identification/common access card.
  • Ability to interact professionally and courteously with a variety of people in diverse situations.
  • Valid Alabama state Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to successfully pass background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS).
