About the position
The Shop Supervisor at Altec, Inc. is responsible for overseeing technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment, ensuring that all jobs align with Altec's values and meet customer goals. This role emphasizes continuous training, safety, and process improvement within the service group, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Enable continuous training for new and current technicians.
- Ensure safety and environmental considerations are prioritized in practices.
- Ensure efficient and effective work methods and scheduling.
- Champion and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Foster team spirit in alignment with Altec Values to maintain a successful Service Group.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED AND four years of industry-related experience OR a bachelor's degree with some industry-related knowledge.
- Bachelor's Degree AND two years of supervision, industry-related preferred OR High School Diploma or GED AND five years of industry-related supervision.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- General PC skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work with team members and with minimal supervision.
- Current valid Driver's License may be required.
