About the position

We are looking for a skilled Shopify Website Developer to enhance and finalize our Shopify website. The role involves optimizing functionality, customizing features, and providing training to our team for independent site management post-completion.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess the current state of our Shopify website and recommend enhancements.
• Implement design and functionality adjustments, including custom coding if necessary.
• Optimize the website for performance, user experience, and mobile responsiveness.
• Integrate apps or plugins as needed to enhance site functionality.
• Provide hands-on training and documentation for our team on managing the site, including updating products, pages, and content.
• Adjust design elements within Shopify's theme editor.
• Manage third-party apps and tools.
• Ensure the website aligns with our brand identity and goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during development.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing and customizing Shopify websites (portfolio or examples of work required).
• Strong understanding of Shopify's Liquid templating language, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Shopify themes, apps, and integrations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to teach non-technical team members basic Shopify management.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering clean, functional designs and code.
• Experience in optimizing e-commerce websites for performance and user experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of graphic design tools or experience with branding is a plus.
