About the position

The Shopper Marketing Manager at HS Ad USA is responsible for leading the development and execution of in-store marketing and merchandising strategies across various channels and business units. This role aims to create best-in-class in-store materials that align with LG's overall marketing strategies, ensuring flawless execution from conception to installation. The position requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders and vendors to drive shopper insights and enhance retail solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive shopper strategy and creative for all business units in collaboration with Brand and creative teams.
  • Spearhead the development and sharing of brand insights and plans, including measurement and evaluation.
  • Support shopper marketing activation with retailer environments by planning and evaluating omni-commerce tactics.
  • Manage multiple vendors, including display manufacturers and printers, to deliver retail solutions.
  • Develop and negotiate outcomes with retailers that align with both retailer and LG strategies.
  • Uncover key retailer shopper insights and understand retail partners' marketing parameters.
  • Develop account-specific yearly shopper plans in collaboration with retailers, including access to store-level sell-through data.
  • Discern category shopper insights and develop key activations based on these insights.
  • Oversee the production of various marketing materials, including printed POP, sales aids, and electronic displays.
  • Ensure retail compliance of all programs through a rigorous auditing process.
  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and senior management regarding in-store activities.
  • Develop a sell-thru analysis process for new in-store activations to assess ROI.
  • Act as the central point of contact for the Sales Team to ensure successful product launches.
  • Project manage budgets and work with procurement through final execution and billing.
  • Develop and execute key test/learn projects to innovate shopper marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in In-Store, Shopper Marketing, or closely related responsibilities is required.
  • Point of Purchase (POP) Production experience is required.
  • Extensive experience with retail executions of in-store marketing programs is required.
  • Knowledge of US retail account channels is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing teams, agencies, and vendor partners is necessary.
  • Ability to travel nationally to support business needs is required.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills are required.
