About the position

The Shore Tankerman position at PSC Group is a critical role within the petroleum and chemical shipping industry, requiring a U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC). The role involves being on call for six days, with responsibilities centered around the safe handling and transportation of petroleum products. Responsibilities

• Serve as a licensed Tankerman in the petroleum and chemical shipping industry.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during product handling.
• Respond to calls and be available for work on a 24-hour basis during the on-call period.
• Perform duties related to the loading and unloading of barges and tankers.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and other team members regarding job status and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Must hold a current U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC) with Tankerman PIC Barge (DL) Endorsement.
• Must have a current TWIC card and valid driver's license.
• One year of experience as a Tankerman preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.

• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
