About the position
The Showroom Representative at DH Pace Company, Inc. is responsible for providing administrative support, counter parts sales, and troubleshooting while representing the company professionally. This role involves effective communication with customers and staff, managing service appointments, processing parts deliveries, and assisting customers with product information and setup.
Responsibilities
- Represent the company in a professional manner with good customer service and verbal communication skills
- Communicate with customers, supervisors, or other office personnel in an effective and timely manner
- Provide administrative support to staff, department, and management
- Receive incoming calls from customers requiring service/sales, identify the type of call and problem, and schedule service appointments
- Review, receive, and process parts deliveries and technician parts picklists
- Troubleshoot and walk customers through remote-control setup
- Provide details about various doors in the showroom for customers
- Utilize a gas cutting torch and other hand tools to cut springs/cables
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
- Detail-oriented team player with good interpersonal skills
- Computer proficient
- Must be able to lift over 20 lbs
- Must be comfortable utilizing hand tools, including a gas cutting torch
