About the position

The Showroom Sales Account Executive at Scott Group Studio is responsible for driving sales and building relationships with interior designers and architects. This role requires a blend of sales expertise, business acumen, and design knowledge to ensure that Scott Group Studio is viewed as the preferred resource for custom carpets and rugs. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams to fulfill customer needs and manage showroom operations, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with Interior Designers and Architects to discover needs and present solutions.
  • Promote Scott Group products by developing relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with assigned outside Business Development Account Executive to build relationships with qualified leads.
  • Prepare quotations, order confirmations, and respond to sales inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Build and nurture a strong client base using industry knowledge and existing relationships.
  • Manage customer projects and drive sales through consistent follow-up and CRM documentation.
  • Co-manage and run the day-to-day operations of the showroom.
  • Identify outreach opportunities, including marketing to local interior designers and architects.
  • Host and attend local events and continuing education opportunities.
  • Follow up on existing opportunities and schedule post-sale customer relationship maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, design, or a related field preferred.
  • Five plus years of sales experience with a proven record of success.
  • Strong customer service and solution-oriented skills.
  • Knowledge of luxury interiors and the textile industry.
