About the position

As a Showroom Sales Associate at General Plumbing Supply, you will play a crucial role in presenting and selling plumbing products to both new and existing customers in our Mount Vernon showroom. This position involves managing customer projects from start to finish, including measuring, designing, and ordering products, while striving to meet sales targets and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Present and sell products to new and existing customers
• Provide showroom tours
• Manage a job from start to finish, including measuring, designing, selling, and ordering
• Manage your own projects
• Strive to hit agreed upon sales targets
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
• Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
• Create sales material to present to customers
• Keep up with industry trends and products

Requirements

• Strong sales focus with the ability to grasp computer systems and product knowledge quickly
• Experience and knowledge of decorative plumbing
• Previous bathroom design experience is a plus
• Knowledge of the ERP Epicor Eclipse is a plus
